Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten Free Options
At Mai Thai, our Five-Star Chef takes your dietary needs seriously. He has specifically formulated meal options for those who require meals that are vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free.
All of our servers have been trained on what items are menu are already (or can be made) vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free. Let them know what you need and they will recommend the best possible options for you to select from.

Our mission is to consistently provide our guests with a delicious and remarkable dining experience, through creatively combining traditional and modern styles of Asian cooking. We keep our concept cutting-edge by always maintaining the highest standards of quality, freshness and seasonality of our food and drinks. We are proud of where our ingredients come from. That’s why we source local, sustainable, and all-natural ingredients from Wagner Farms. It’s a local food cooperative that distributes great local food to restaurants, grocery stores, and directly to you.
We also strive to provide impeccable service by demonstrating warmth, graciousness, efficiency, knowledge, professionalism and integrity in our work.
Mai Thai is pleased to use top-of-the-line rice throughout all our dishes. Our premium white and brown jasmine rice is shipped in from Thailand, and our sushi rice comes from the admirable, Koda Farms. As the oldest, continuously family-owned and operated rice farm and mill in California, we firmly believe our discerning customers appreciate the fact that they oversee all facets of production–from growing and harvesting to milling and packaging.
Charitable Contributions
Mai Thai focuses on improving the quality of life in the local community and beyond, through regular donations and fundraisers. We proudly donate to local charities including The Idaho Foodbank, Women’s & Children’s Alliance, Boys & Girls Club of Ada County, Agency For New Americans, and Boise Rescue Mission. Our charitable reach goes far beyond Idaho, through the non-profit organization KIVA, which allows us to help alleviate poverty by loaning money to individuals around to world.
